Psalm 12

David laments his people's miserable plight and the complete collapse of order and appeals to God for swift assistance. To reassure himself and the faithful, he recalls God’s promise to support his followers and celebrates His unwavering fidelity in fulfilling these promises. He concludes that God will ultimately rescue the righteous, even during the world's deepest corruption.
