Psalm 26

This psalm is similar to Psalm 25. The prophet feels burdened by many wrongs and finds no help in the world. He asks God for support, pleading for justice for someone who is wrongfully treated, and for God to confirm their innocence. He confronts hypocrites, seeking God’s judgment and criticizing them for pretending to follow God. In the end, feeling heard, he promises to praise God for his rescue.
