Psalm 14

At first, the Psalmist shares his observations about the troubling way some people have turned away from God. To emphasize his feelings of grief, he expresses it as if God himself is speaking. But then, he encourages himself and those around him with the hope that a solution is on the horizon. Even though he experiences deep sorrow and discomfort from what he sees, he holds onto the belief that God will bring help soon.
